Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA in Sydney Extended
School Holiday and Matinee Shows Added
Cirque du Soleil is delighted to announce that 20 additional performances have been added to the upcoming Sydney season of its all-new, breath-taking production, KOOZA.
The new performances will take place over the NSW school holidays, from Tuesday 27 September to Sunday October 9, and will include a number of special weekday matinees.
A sparkling, colourful homage to the traditions of circus, KOOZA will be performed under the famous blue-and-yellow Big Top at the Entertainment Quarter, Sydney from Thursday August 25 2016 and will then tour to Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
A Family Deal is also available, with a saving of up to 15% on bookings of four to eight tickets, at selected performances. Check the Special Offers section of the website for further details.
In KOOZA, Cirque du Soleil rediscovers its origins with the company’s eighth Big Top show to tour Australia. A return to the intimate and fundamental human elements of circus, KOOZA combines thrilling acrobatic performance with art of clowning.
We follow ‘The Innocent’ as he takes a journey of self‐discovery through a comic kingdom of eccentric characters, electrifying thrills and out‐of‐the‐box surprises.
The international cast of 50 acrobats, musicians, singers and actors present heart-stopping feats and laugh-out-loud antics to a live soundtrack fusion of jazz, funk and Bollywood beats.
