Dance Dr. Presents their Fifth Season Work ‘The Chain’

Contemporary dance company – Dance Dr. – proudly presents their fifth season production on Saturday November 10th at Darlinghurst’s Eternity Theatre – THE CHAIN.
The new full-length production features a cast of 7 talented young dancers alongside guest appearances by Dance Dr. alumni (see poster below). The cast will perform a series of works that invite you to view the food chain from the other side of the looking glass. THE CHAIN is a collection of imagined experiences and poses a question about why it is with such ease, that we decide which friends are food.
“Through a stroke of bad luck, you shift down the line and find yourself linking arms with someone different. That kink in the chain which was forever distant, now seems much more significant,” is how artistic director Lucy Mary-Claire sets the premise.
Each year Dance Dr. takes a small number of both junior and senior dancers into its contemporary dance program. For more information visit www.dancedr.co
