OPEN AUDITIONS
Twisted Element Contemporary Dance Theatre

Twisted Element are a dance collective based in Sydney making immersive/interactive contemporary dance theatre.
The company currently have a full-length work ‘Opus’ which has had much success in Sydney and regional touring. ‘Opus’ is an ongoing project as we consistently evolve the work for ongoing performances into 2019.
We are looking for a couple of new dancers to join as we embark on our new immersive work ‘Ritual‘, to premier in 2019 and also to be worked into ‘Opus’.
We are a collective, currently un-funded. We volunteer our time for 4-8 hours per week. We run on a profit share for shows and have some paid gigs come in here and there. We are a tight-knit group of like-minded creative dancers who absolutely love Twisted Element and we are looking for dancers who are happy to be fully integrated into our ‘Twisted family’.
We invite professional female dancers aged 23yrs+ to come and join us in this workshop style audition.
You will need a strong background in contemporary dance (a degree or equivalent level of training.)
The audition will consist of contemporary class, some repertoire and creative tasking.
