Parisian Show Girl Glamour coming to Sydney

Cabaret De Paris will play at the Capitol Theatre, Sydney on May 27 & 28 for three shows only. Pre-sale is now available with tickets on sale to the general public from Monday, April 4.
Old-school showgirl glamour is mixed with aerial artists, pole dancers, circus acts, magicians, and of course the famous can-can dancers, in a lavish French cabaret show like no other.
Audiences will be enthralled by the beauty of dancers, the magic of the music and the spectacular array of international guest variety artists of Cabaret De Paris.
Fall under the charm of former Moulin Rouge star, Marissa Burgess, the legendary Australian showgirl and the toast of Paris. Born and raised in Newcastle, Burgess starred in three multi-million dollar revues – Femmes, Femmes Femmes, Formidable and Feerie – and is the longest-serving star of the Moulin Rouge’s 120-year history.
The crème de la crème of showgirls have been sourced from all over the globe, the dancers having already graced the stages of Moulin Rouge, The Lido and other French cabaret revues.
Acclaimed illusionist Michael Boyd will perform some of the world’s greatest illusions, mind-boggling disappearances and incredible magic that will keep audiences guessing and have the whole family entranced.
Cyriaque and Angela Kinkingnehun are classically trained ballet dancers. The husband and wife duo combine dance with illusion and acrobatic lifts, all the while performing in colourful haute couture.
The jewel of Cabaret De Paris is the exquisite lavish costumes that will light up the stage. Made in a traditional Parisian style, the dancers are adorned in feathers sequins and rhinestones, with barely anything covered. A topless burlesque revue, some aspects of the show may offend so viewer discretion is advised.
