Tim Lawson, Producer of CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG and Director Roger Hodgman today welcomed the media into the rehearsal room of the Capitol Theatre to introduce the whole cast to the media.
Cast members Alan Brough (Baron Bomburst) and Jennifer Vuletic (Baroness Bomburst) along with the Vulgarian chorus performed the big song and dance number ‘The Bombie Samba’. We discovered Annabel Knight (former Sydney Dance Company performer) in the Ensemble
‘The Bombie Samba’ was written by the Sherman brothers, composers of the beloved ‘Mary Poppins’ and premiered at the London Palladium on April 16, 2002 and on Broadway in 2005. ‘The Bombie Samba’ will be performed by Baroness Bomburst (Jennifer Vuletic), Baron Bombhurst (Alan Brough) with the Vulgarian chorus and takes place during the Baron’s big birthday bash.
