BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS DEGREES
Designed to transform talented individuals into well-rounded artists, the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree programs combine a comprehensive college education with extensive performance opportunities and rigorous conservatory-level artistic training. BFA Degree Programs in Acting, Music Theatre, Dance Theatre and Performing Arts are offered through AMDA Los Angeles, with the option to spend a semester of study on the New York campus.
ASSOCIATES OF OCCUPATIONAL STUDIES
The Associate of Occupational Study (AOS) programs encourage individual artistic growth and discovery within a comprehensive yet concise four-semester trajectory. Students select a focus in one of three primary areas of study: Acting, Musical Theatre, or Dance Theatre. The blend of courses and performance opportunities offered emphasizes a respect for craft combined with professional standards, mirroring those necessary to succeed in the competitive performing arts industry.
CONSERVATORY CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
The Conservatory Performing Arts programs focus on intensive, practical instruction that provide a solid foundation for a successful career in the performing arts. Conservatory Programs in Acting, Music Theatre, and Dance Theatre are offered through AMDA New York.
THE HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER CONSERVATORY
AMDA’s High School Summer Conservatory offers a fully immersive performance experience for the aspiring actor, singer or dancer. Offered over two, four or six week terms at either AMDA Los Angeles or AMDA New York, students between 8th and 12th grade learn the fundamentals of their craft on stage while getting a glimpse of the AMDA college experience.
Admission to AMDA requires an audition. AMDA offers numerous audition opportunities in locations throughout the United States and the world. You must be a junior or senior in high school or a high school graduate for your audition to be considered for acceptance into the BFA, Associates and Conservatory Certificate programs.
