Katie Kermond has had a noteworthy career in Australian Musical Theatre.
Her first major productions were West Side Story and Camelot followed by La Cage Aux Follies, Guys and Dolls, Evita and Sugar Babies. Her comprehensive dance and comic skills have kept her in demand going on to appear as Cha Cha in Grease, a national tour of Jerry’s Girls , Chicago and Singing’ in the Rain.
Creatively Katie has written and performed her own stand-up comedy, appearing regularly at Sydney’s Comedy Store, as well as the Women’s Comedy Festival at The Belvoir St Theatre, and the Standouts season at The Melbourne Comedy Festival.
Over the last 8 years Katie has produced Entertainment for a number of major Corporate Events including the Singapore Business Awards, World Energy Congress and Amway China.
She is married to Wayne Scott Kermond (who she met in her first show – West Side Story) and they have a son Alexander.
