The Genée International Ballet Competition 2016
Sydney 2 – 11 December | Applications Close 3 October
Aspiring classical ballet dancers are invited to apply to the internationally-renowned Genée International Ballet Competition – which is being held in Sydney this year for the first time since 2002, when Steven McRae won the Gold Medal and is now the Principal dancer with The Royal Ballet!
The Genée is conducted annually by the Royal Academy of Dance and has been the launch pad for many of the world’s professional ballet dancers.
APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN! Applications opened on 1st July and will close on 3rd October 2016.
The event will take place over 2 – 11 December with semi-finals being held at The Concourse in Chatswood and the Final on the Opera House stage.
