KHALID FREEMAN – WORKSHOP ON THIS MONDAY!!


Originating from Detroit but raised around the world Khalid Freeman specialises in Hip Hop, Stepping and Body Percussion. To date he has travelled 49 United States and 21 countries as a performer and teacher.
Khalid’s career started by touring with the “Young Americans” and working for Universal Studios followed by a 5 year run with “Stomp” on Broadway. Khalid was also a principal dancer in “Love” a show by Cirque Du Soleil in Montreal.
In 2007 Khalid was in the #1 Movie “STOMP THE YARD” as a dancer and choreographer. He then went on the European tour of “Stomp” followed by “Stomp Out Loud” in Vegas. He performed in various shows in Vegas and was selected as one of eight judges for the World Hip Hop Championships.
Khalid Freeman is know all around the world for his unique stepping style of dance based in body percussion and hip hop.
He loves to teach students how to make music with their bodies, and is looking forward to making some noise in Australia.
