New tickets to the upcoming Sydney season of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF starring Anthony Warlow have been released. One of the alltime greatest musicals opens at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre on March 24 for a strictly limited 6 week season.
The most celebrated name in Australian musical theatre, Anthony Warlow, comes home from Broadway to perform his bucket-list role of Tevye. He’ll tread the boards alongside Australian stage and screen star, Sigrid Thornton, ARIA award winning musician Lior, funny-man Mark Mitchell and acclaimed actress Nicki Wendt.
Currently playing its opening season in Melbourne, audiences and critics alike agree that this is a world class production with a world class cast.

Playing Tevye’s five daughters are Teagan Wouters (Dirty Dancing) as Tzeitel, Monica Swayne (Wicked) as Hoddel, Jessica Vickers (NIDA) as Chava and making their professional adult musical theatre debuts are Madeline Perrone and Sara Reed as Sprintze and Bielke. Perchik will be played by Blake Bowden (South Pacific), Avram by Andrew Kroenert (City of Angels), Pendel by Andrew Pepe (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) and Fyedeka by Jensen Overend (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang). The role of Fruma-Sarah will be played by Sara Grenfell (Sunset Boulevard) while the Rabbi will be played by Derek Taylor.
